You choose T-Razzino 1K when you want to trowel straight from the bucket indoors. The one-component micro finishing plaster with mineral fillers comes ready to use, with a grain size below 0.5 mm. Apply it to a primed substrate in two thin coats. Trowel each coat off to grain thickness. Substrate and surroundings must not fall below 5 °C while you work. We tint it for you; over 2,000 shades are possible. Once fully cured, the surface is splash-proof and can take mechanical loads. For wall surfaces in the wet area, Matt varnish 2K goes on top as a top seal. We do not specify the 1K for shower areas and bathroom floors. For these, you use T-Razzino+ 2K.

Frequently asked questions
Can I trowel directly onto tiles?
No. Check the tiles, clean them and then prime them with a single coat of the Primer. Let it flash off for about an hour. For old tiled surfaces there is a separate build-up: clean and degrease thoroughly or sand lightly, prime with the Primer, apply two coats of Basic lightweight filler and work a fleece into the fresh first coat. You trowel T-Razzino 1K on top of that.
Can T-Razzino 1K also be used in the bathroom?
On the wall, yes, with matt varnish 2K as a top seal. We only approve T-Razzino 1K for wall surfaces in wet areas with this seal. Without the seal, the fully cured surface is splash-proof and can take mechanical loads. Not even the seal covers the shower area and bathroom floors; for those you use T-Razzino+ 2K.
Can I get the shade the customer wants?
In most cases, yes. We tint T-Razzino 1K for you, and over 2,000 shades are possible. You choose one of the 20 Interieur Select shades from the sample box or tell us the shade you want. Light shades are made on base A (white, opaque), dark shades on base B (beige, transparent). With a shade of your choice, a colour deviation is possible.
How soon can the second coat go on?
After 2 to 4 hours. That is how long the surface needs at 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity until it is dry and can be recoated. In colder rooms and at higher humidity it takes longer. You apply the second coat in the same way as the first; you do not need an intermediate primer coat. Here, too, the substrate and the surroundings must not fall below 5 °C.
Do I have to sand at the end?
Only if you want a smooth surface. Otherwise the surface can stay as it is after drying. Sand lightly with 180 to 240 grit by hand or with the orbital sander, and wear a P2 dust filter while doing so. On dark colours, sanded white marble filler particles stand out.
