Before you fix the tiles, you waterproof wall and floor surfaces with the 330. The Lugato 330 Professional 2K is a two-component, flexible liquid waterproofing. It is meant for bathrooms, showers, washrooms and WC facilities, including public areas. Further areas of use are balconies and terraces in accordance with DIN 18531-5 and swimming pool surrounds. Lugato approves the 330 for indoor and outdoor use, including under water. According to DIN 18534-3, the approval applies to the water exposure classes W0-I, W1-I, W2-I and W3-I, the last two without chemical exposure. You get it in a plastic bucket of 14 kg. In the Seamless surfaces workshop, we use it to waterproof the wet area before the shower board and T-Razzino follow.

Where can I use the 330?
On walls and floors, indoors and outdoors, and also under water. It is made for waterproofing before tile bonding in shower facilities, bathrooms, showers, shower rooms, washrooms and WC facilities, including public areas. Outdoors, balconies and terraces in accordance with DIN 18531-5 are added, as well as swimming pool surrounds. Lugato approves the 330 in accordance with DIN 18534-3 for water exposure classes W0-I, W1-I, W2-I and W3-I, with W2-I and W3-I without chemical exposure. Can I also use it to bond in the sealing tape, corners and sleeves?
Yes, Lugato also approves the 330 for bonding system components, for example sealing tape 370, sealing sleeve 373, inside corner 371 and outside corner 372. On old tiles you also use it as a bonding slurry before you fix tiles onto it.

Where does the waterproofing compound sit in the Materea build-up?
In the waterproofing, before the seamless surface goes on. Besides the 330, this includes sealing tape 370, inside and outside corners and the sleeves at the pipe penetrations. This is how we build it up in the seamless surfaces workshop. Shower board installation and T-Razzino only follow after that.
