Refund policy

This English version is a reading aid only; the German version remains the legally binding text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Materea sells exclusively to businesses. What this means for returns, complaints and workshop dates is set out here in brief. The Terms and conditions are binding.

No statutory right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal for distance sales applies to consumers only. It does not exist between entrepreneurs. An order in the shop is therefore binding as soon as we have confirmed it.

Returning material

If you nevertheless want to return goods you have ordered, please speak to us beforehand. We will look at the case and tell you whether, and on what terms, we will take the goods back. Please do not send anything back without our agreement: we do not accept parcels sent carriage forward.

We can only take back unopened containers in resaleable condition. Material that has been mixed, opened or tinted is excluded from return, as are shades mixed specially for you.

Transport damage

If a parcel or pallet is visibly damaged, report the damage to the delivery person immediately on taking delivery and have it confirmed. Then send us a short message with photos to kontakt@materea.at, and we will sort out the replacement.

Wrong delivery, shortage, defect

Please check the delivery immediately after receipt. If something is missing, something is not right or a defect is apparent, report this in writing without undue delay (§ 377 of the Austrian Commercial Code, UGB). After that, the goods are deemed approved. In the case of a justified defect we will make a replacement delivery or exchange the goods; further warranty claims are governed by the terms and conditions.

Rescheduling workshops

A workshop booking is binding; a cancellation is not provided for. Up to 7 days before the start, however, you can move your place free of charge to another scheduled date, as long as a place is free there. A short email to kontakt@materea.at is enough.

From the 7th day before the start, rescheduling is no longer possible. If you do not take part, the price remains payable.

If we cancel a date, you will be offered a replacement date or a refund of the amount paid.
