The tape does not seal on its own: you embed it in the liquid waterproofing. There, it seals connection, movement and corner joints and crack-prone connections permanently and flexibly, in wet rooms, on balconies and on terraces. The roll holds 25 m and is also the sales unit. You work out the quantity needed from the running metres of the joints and connections; at least 5 cm of overlap is added per join. Lugato lists the sealing tape 370 as a system component of the 330 Professional 2K. For installation, Lugato's data sheet applies. What do I use the sealing tape for?
For connection, movement and corner joints, and for connections at risk of cracking in wet rooms, on balconies and on terraces. Embedded in the liquid waterproofing, it keeps the joint permanently flexible and sealed; on its own it does not seal.
How much tape is on the roll, and how do I work out how much I need?
25 m; the roll is also the sales unit. Measure the running metres of all joints and connections that you waterproof, and add at least 5 cm for every overlap of two pieces of tape.
What do I use to bond the tape in?
With the Lugato 330 Professional 2K waterproofing compound. Lugato approves it for bonding the system components: sealing tape 370 and also sealing sleeve 373, inside corner 371 and outside corner 372.
