If you are short of hardener for Matt varnish 2K or Gloss varnish 2K, you buy more here, in the 0.5-l bottle. You mix Matt varnish 2K 10 to 1, that is, 10 parts base to 1 part hardener. The bottle therefore covers exactly one 5-l container. You mix Gloss varnish 2K according to the information on the container: 2 l of base to 0.4 l of hardener. Some hardener is left in the bottle in this case, so measure out the hardener by the ratio instead of emptying the bottle. This hardener is not intended for T-Razzino+ 2K. The hardener is intended for industrial and professional use, not for DIY users. It can cause allergic skin reactions and irritate the respiratory tract. What is the extra hardener for?
It is for reordering hardener for our two 2K varnishes, matt varnish 2K and gloss varnish 2K. In the shop it is listed directly with these two varnishes, in the 0.5-l bottle. Every varnish container already includes its hardener: 5 l plus 0.5 l for the matt varnish and 2 l plus 0.4 l for the gloss varnish. The bottle here is the refill quantity. For the gloss varnish, 0.4 l goes with 2 l of base, so some of the 0.5-l bottle is left over. Measure it out according to the ratio and do not empty the bottle completely.
In what ratio is the varnish mixed with the hardener?
You mix matt varnish 2K at 10 to 1, base to hardener: 5 l of base to 0.5 l of hardener. You mix gloss varnish 2K at 5 to 1: 2 l of base to 0.4 l of hardener. For gloss varnish 2K, the information on the container applies.
Is the extra hardener also suitable for T-Razzino+ 2K?
No. We do not approve the varnish hardener for T-Razzino+ 2K. Use the hardener that comes with T-Razzino+ 2K instead. You mix it as Part B with base A at a ratio of 12 to 1, so 6 kg of base A to 0.5 kg of hardener.
