Basic
Lightweight filler 12 kg
Item no. 1057
You use Basic to smooth wall surfaces before the look goes on. The lightweight filler is a plastic-based ready-to-use plaster with mineral fillers and comes premixed in a 12-kg container. Apply it in a thin coat, 1.5 mm at most. Above 2 mm, there is a risk of shrinkage cracks. We recommend Basic for waterproofed wall surfaces. Once fully cured, the surface is splash-proof and can take mechanical loads. In the wet area, you use Basic only as a substrate, with a non-absorbent layer such as T-Razzino+ 2K on top. We do not approve it for floors. Store the container tightly closed and protect it from heat and frost.
- Ready-mixed plaster: plastic-based with mineral fillers
- Wet areas: only under a non-absorbent layer such as T-Razzino+ 2K
- Thin coat: maximum layer thickness 1.5 mm

Questions
What applicators ask about this.
Frequently asked questions
How thickly can I apply Basic?
Maximum layer thickness 1.5 mm. Above 2 mm, shrinkage cracks can occur.
Can I use Basic in the bathroom or on the floor?
Not on floors; we do not approve Basic for that. In the bathroom you use it to smooth waterproofed wall surfaces; once fully cured, it is splash-proof and can take mechanical loads there. In the shower and other wet areas, Basic can only be used as a substrate, provided a non-absorbent layer such as T-Razzino+ 2K goes on top.
How do I store the container?
Keep the container tightly closed and protect it from heat and frost.
What the surface still needs.
Primer and sealer are part of the build-up. The times given above apply to the fully sealed surface.
