The joint in the same shade as the trowelled wall: Matt silicone is available in the 20 Interieur Select shades, plus special shades with a longer delivery time. The sealant closes connection joints and movement joints. You use it in the kitchen, in areas close to food and in wet rooms, indoors and outdoors. Typical places are the connections to the floor, window frame and door frame. Technically, Matt silicone is a one-component sealant based on a neutral-curing, MEKO-free oxime silicone, with a matt finish. The joint must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease beforehand.

Can I use the silicone in wet areas?
Yes, wet rooms are among the areas of application. You use the silicone in connection and movement joints on various substrates and floor coverings, indoors and outdoors. This also applies to kitchens and areas close to food, as well as to joints on window frames and door frames.
Can I get the joint in the same shade as the trowelled surface?
Yes, if you tint the surface in one of the 20 Interieur Select shades. You tint T-Razzino 1K and T-Razzino+ 2K fine to the same shades. Matt silicone is available in every one of them. Special shades are possible on request, with a longer delivery time.
How far does a cartridge go?
Around 7 linear metres per 310 ml cartridge. Plan the quantity needed from the joint dimensions.
How do I prepare the joint?
Dry, clean, free of dust and grease. Then press the silicone in without voids and smooth off the joint with smoothing agent and a silicone squeegee.
What is the difference between matt silicone and glossy silicone?
Technically, only the finish. Both are the same neutral-curing, MEKO-free oxime silicone, remain permanently elastic after curing and come in the 310-ml cartridge. The price differs as well. Both are available in the 20 Interieur Select shades and as a special shade.
What applies to a special shade?
